Learn to observe and map tension patterns in the bodies of students and clients we are working with as well as in your own body.
Have you noticed that one shoulder seems to be tighter than the other? Or one hip?? Do you feel more balanced when standing on your right leg, or left? These imbalances are not an accident. They are result of your life experience, and in many cases were set from early childhood or even birth. Rather than trying to overcome these imbalances, we can embrace and learn from them, finding a skillful way to practice and live our lives with more ease.
In this workshop we will observe bodies, and learn to develop a body map encapsulating useful information – including tightness vs mobility (including hyber-mobility), pain vs ease, stability vs vulnerability (or instability).
No one has a perfectly balanced body. We can still find symmetry within.
